Programme - Beating Bad Habits & Addictions

Hi, I’m Judith from Complete Life Coaching and I would like to talk to you about my programme Beating Bad Habits & Addictions.

 

 

Habits are our brain's way of managing all the billions of bits of information it has to process, what you might term our 'auto pilot setting'. But if the habits you have developed are not only unhelpful, but damaging, how do you re-set the programme and input new settings that work better for you?

 

This programme will focus on your current behaviours and what they are achieving for you. From this information new strategies can be developed that will achieve a far more effective and less damaging outcome, removing the need for the previous behaviour and correcting the brain's 'auto pilot setting'. The more we understand about our behaviour, the greater the potential for choosing behaviour patterns that are helpful to us.

 

The programme draws on techniques from motivational interviewing (MI), performance coaching, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), social behaviour and network therapy (SBNT) neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and mindfulness. It will expand your thinking and therefore the options available to you, increasing your confidence in both your capabilities and decision making. The increased awareness of what strategies work best for you will allow you to use them time and time again in the future.

 

Coaching is one of the fastest growing forms of one to one support or self-development. It works using simple but insightful questions to concentrate the mind on what you want, as opposed to what you don’t want, and helps you recognise the right way for you to move forward, much faster and more efficiently than without this support.

 

Coaching with Complete Life Coaching differs from other support because of the breadth of therapeutic interventions used flexibly to match your needs. In the most part, your coaching will focus on the future. Whilst past experiences will be touched upon, this will be with a view to understand how this is impacting on you now and in the future.
